Calling all choral singers! You are welcome to join the adult choirs of St Peter Mancroft for a ‘Come & Sing’ Evensong on Sunday 14th September. It is free to take part, but singers are asked to register in advance, please. Under 18s are very welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

 

The music will be taken from the RSCM’s Come & Sing Evensong! book edited by Simon Lole, and these will be available to borrow on the day or can be purchased in advance from the RSCM shop.

The afternoon will be led by Jody James, Director of Music at St Peter Mancroft, with accompaniment by Julian Haggett, Organist at St Peter Mancroft.

The schedule for the day will be as follows:

 

2.00pm            Registration and music collection

2.15pm            Rehearsal

3.15pm            Tea break (tea, coffee, squash and cake provided)

3.45pm            Rehearsal

4.45pm            Short break

5.00pm            Evensong

 

There is no dress code; you are invited to dress comfortably. If you have any queries about the afternoon or wish to let us know about a dietary restriction for the refreshments, please do not hesitate to be in touch.
