The Church

St Peter Mancroft is a striking and versatile city-centre venue, ideal for concerts, recordings, talks, exhibitions, and community events.

With its beautiful architecture and excellent acoustics, it offers a memorable setting for performers and audiences alike.

A large, flexible interior suitable for:

Seating is flexible (up to approx. 440), with piano and organ available by arrangement.

Seating for up to 440 (flexible depending on layout)
profession-grade acoustic (particularly suited to classical music and choral work)

Basic staging, lighting, and sound options
Step-free access and central city location

Availability

Mondays: daytime only

Tuesday - Thursday: 10.30 am - 3.30pm

Fridays: from 10.30am

Saturdays: all day

Sundays: limited (by discussion)

December is typically fully booked.

Pricing varies depending on the nature of the event, with reduced rates available for community or charity events.

The Octagon

This room is available for private or business hire for meetings, talks, lectures, conferences as well as for small group socials, and is also used as a “Green Room” for concerts which are held in the church. The spacious room comes with access to fully-equipped kitchen

Please note: the Octagon is within the churchyard, so part of the consecrated site. It would therefore not be appropriate to license its use for services by another religious group if they were neither in communion with the Church of England nor subscribing to the doctrine of the Trinity.

Chantry Hall

Chantry Hall is located on Chantry Road, Norwich next door to the Assembly House. The hall, stage and kitchen facilities are available to hire for regular or one-off events.For bookings, prices or for further information please contact the church office.
